Domestic testing – EICR REPORT
Periodic inspections and testing should be carried out in domestic properties every 10 years. For rental properties, landlords should ensure this is conducted every 5 years. We also highly recommend property buyers check all electrical installations before purchasing a property.
Fixed wire testing – PERIODIC TESTING
Fixed Wire Testing involves testing the electrical installations and systems that conduct electricity around the building. It covers all the electrical wiring in a building and includes main panels, distribution boards, lighting, socket outlets and other fixed plant.
New installations – EIC REPORT
Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) and Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates (MEIWCs) provide you, as the person responsible for the safety of an electrical installation, with a declaration that the new installation, alteration or addition, is safe to use at the time it was put into service.
Remedial work – AFTERCARE
Should the EICR test be classed as “unsatisfactory”, the required remedial work should be done without delay. We provide an itemised quotation of any required remedial work which accompanies our report. All remedial work is undertaken by Secure Systems and once completed, a satisfactory certificate is produced.
Portable appliances – PAT TESTING
Portable appliance testing is a requirement for landlords and businesses to have their electrical appliances checked on a yearly basis. This is done through testing of the appliances, to safeguard against damage and to make certain that these items perform properly.
Emergency lighting – MAINTENANCE
Annual testing is required to ensure that emergency lighting systems are maintained and working properly and efficiently. We can provide an annual service to commission and maintain your system, making sure you have functioning emergency lighting that will perform its duty whenever required.
